Functional Thin Film and Microelectronics (FTFM) Lab

Our group’s mission is to understand and develop novel functional materials and device systems that will tackle the most critical energy and sustainability challenges in the 21st century. In particular, we focus on developing advanced semiconductor materials and electronic devices for next-generation energy-efficient memory and computing applications. We also aim to utilize artificial intelligence methods that will enable new materials discovery, properties optimization, and autonomous experiments etc.
